The @NCCAie Twitter account is managed by the Social Media team at the National Council for Curriculum and Assessment. Tweets will cover developments in curriculum and assessment and related research and work with early years settings, schools and teachers/practitioners.
Normally our Twitter account will be updated and monitored during office hours, Monday to Friday, but we'll sometimes tweet from events outside of these hours.
We welcome and will read all @messages. However we won't be in a position to reply to them all.
Please do not include personal/private information in your tweets to us. This is for the protection of your personal data and private information.
If you follow us, we will not automatically follow you back. This is to help our followers identify other Twitter accounts that we are following that might be of interest to them. If we do follow a Twitter account, it does not imply endorsement. If we unfollow, we are simply tidying our timeline.
Retweets may be used to highlight relevant appropriate announcements, particularly those by other Government bodies and educational organisations. Retweets do not imply endorsement. As a civil service agency, we won't be participating in party political debates/discussions.
Sending a message via Twitter will not be considered as contacting the NCCA for official purposes. If you need to contact us in an official capacity or you need information please email us, or check out our website - www.ncca.ie.
